You're on the list. Now bring your crew.
Know someone good? Get them on Gaffr. Once they've worked 5 shifts, we pay you £50. That's for every crew member you bring, with no limit.
Bring your crew
You know who's good. Gaffr grows one recommendation at a time, so we pay you for yours.
Tell them about Gaffr
Send them gaffr.uk. Once you're in Gaffr Live, you can show them your QR code instead.
They say it was you
When they join the waitlist or sign up in Gaffr Live, they tell us you brought them.
They work 5 shifts
Shifts they turn up for, work and get paid for through Gaffr.
You get £50
Paid to your Stripe account, like your shift pay, then on to your bank.
The small print
- There's no limit. Bring ten people who each work 5 shifts and that's £500.
- They have to be new to Gaffr. Not already on the waitlist or signed up, and each person can name only one person who brought them.
- A shift counts when it's done and paid. A no-show, a released booking or a shift that's still being looked into doesn't count.
- You need Gaffr Live set up to be paid, with a Stripe account that can receive payments, as for shift pay.
- It's income. Like your shift pay, it goes on your Self Assessment. Tax and Self Assessment explains what Gaffr reports.
- If we ever stop it, we'll say so here first, and everyone already named still counts.
What Gaffr is, for crew
Gaffr Live sends you work from clients who need crew. You choose what you take.
Your rate. All of it.
You set your hourly rate. The client pays it, and Gaffr's fee is on their side. The fee Gaffr charges you is £0.00.
Your call
Opportunities come to your phone. Take the ones you want. Turning one down costs nothing, and there's no minimum acceptance rate.
No exclusivity
Keep working wherever else you work. Gaffr doesn't ask you to stop.
Anywhere in the UK
Work near you comes as Opportunities. Bookings further away that nobody nearby took show under Open work, with how far they are.
Paid through Stripe
Your pay goes to your Stripe account and on to your bank, usually in about a week.
Counter if it's worth more
Want more than your rate for a job? You can send one counter offer with an extra amount for it.
